Biographical / Historical Note

John C. Frederickson and Elizabeth McCune Perkins married in Southern California and moved to Goodsprings, Nevada in the early 1900s. John was involved in various business endeavors in Goodsprings and Las Vegas, Nevada, most notably the New Year Mine. Elizabeth was a schoolteacher at the Goodsprings Schoolhouse. The Frederickson family was also involved in the 1907 founding of the Masonic Las Vegas Lodge.

Acquisition Note

Materials were donated in 2002 by Elizabeth Warren; accession number 2002-015.

Processing Note

Material was processed by Christina Molina in 2012. In 2014, as part of a legacy finding aid conversion project, Ian M. Baldwin revised and enhanced the collection description to bring it into compliance with current professional standards. Subsequently, Ian M. Baldwin entered the data into ArchivesSpace. In 2018, as part of an archival backlog elimination project, Billy Marino rehoused and arranged the materials, enhanced the finding aid, and entered the data into ArchivesSpace.
