A wide-angle shot taken during preparations for the Sunrise launch from Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden in June 2009. The solar panels had just been installed on the gondola, seen through the open doorway. The balloon-borne gondola contains a 1-meter solar telescope as well as other instruments on a mission to investigate the structure and dynamics of the Sun's magnetic fields.
