Lenschow talks about his involvement with the Electra and his responsibilities with the RAF. Lenschow discusses the problems with the Electra during GATE and AMTEX experiments and tests, and then talks about his first flight on the Electra, the aircraftâs early years before its use for research, and his experience flying in the plane. Rabson asks about the instrumentation aboard the airplane and Lenschow discusses the instruments and research equipment used on the airplane. Lenschow goes on to talk about the Air Mass Transformation Experiment (AMTEX), flying in Japan, data collected, and the Electraâs involvement in the Boreo Echosphere Atmosphere Study (BOREAS). Hosansky asks about Lenschowâs role with the Electra and Lenschow talks about his work and how technology has changed research over the years. Lenschow comments on using Air Forces bases during research and then talks about pilots who were involved with the BOREAS project. Hosansky then shifts back to the evolution of technology and Lenschow talks about the Eldora and GAMETAG projects.
