Strong, Charles, 1844-1942
Variant namesMinister of religion and founder of the Australian Church, born Dailly, Scotland, came to Australia 1875 as minister at the Scots Church, Melbourne. After a dispute with some Church members, resigned from the Presbyterian Church of Victoria. In 1885 he founded the Australian Church.
