Byron, Thomas B.

Thomas B. Byron (b. 1830) entered the 52nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry in Cincinnati in September 1861. His Company B was recruited from Mt. Pleasant and Smithfield, in Jefferson County, Ohio. In January 1862, his company joined the 70th Ohio Infantry Regiment, Co. I. He began duty as a corporal and left as a private, when his term expired in September 1864.
