Nathaniel Crosby, Jr. (1812-1856) was a sailing master and bar pilot.

He first came to Oregon in in 1846 as a master of the bark, Toulon. He voyaged between Oregon and Sandwich Islands bringing Benjamin Stark to Portland. He was a pilot of early mail steamers on the Columbia River. He was close associates to John H. Couch, George L. Curry and Francis W. Pettygrove.
