Hide Profile
The Rome-Turney Radiator Company was founded in 1905 in Rome, New York by Joseph B. Long and George Turney under the name Long-Turney Radiator Company. The partnership dissolved in 1908, and Turney changed the name of the company to the Rome-Turney Radiator Company. During the early years of operation, it was primarily engaged in manufacturing radiators for automobiles. By the 1930s, automobile manufacturers were making their own radiators, so Rome-Turney shifted its production to making heat exchange units for private homes and commercial buildings.
