Henrietta Larson was the first woman to join the faculty of the Harvard Business School. She was hired as a Research Assistant in 1928 at the request of Norman S.B. Gras. In 1936 she was appointed Assistant Professor and promoted to Associate Professor in 1942. In 1961, one year before she retired, Henrietta Larson was appointed Professor.
