The Aaron Family is a prominent family in Pittsburgh. The patriarch of the family, Louis Israel Aaron, was a busimessman who served as president of the Homer Laughlin China Co. and owned the Louis I. Aaron Co. His son, Marcus Aaron, served on the Pittsburgh Board of Education from 1911 to 1947. Marcus Aaron's daughter-in-law too served on the Board from 1948 to 1975.
