Henry Harry Dunlop

Henry [Harry] Dunlop was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1876. He worked for the world famous engineering and shipbuilding firm Harland & Wolff. He was serving as chief engineer in Ashburton before joining the British Antarctic Expedition, 1907-1909 (leader Ernest Henry Shackleton) as chief engineer on board Nimrod . He was awarded the Polar Medal for his part in the expedition.
