Biographical note: Commercial photographer, Tucson, Ariz.; Ben Maxey moved to Tucson about 1950 and acquired the Photocenter located on Broadway Blvd. In 1960, he opened Ben Maxey Portrait Studios in the Casas Adobe Plaza and was in business there until about 1969.
