Jacques N. "Jack" Jacobsen was born in 1932, Staten Island NY. He has been a bacteriologist, auctioneer, earth science high school teacher, Egyptian and Near Eastern Archaeology college teacher, director of the Museum of Archaeology at Staten Island, curator of fire and police collections at the Staten Island Historical Society's Richmondtown Restoration and editor in chief of their journal "The Staten Island Historian," co-author of "The Red/Blue Coats: the Indian Scouts," and businessman offering artifacts and memorabilia of Alaska and the American Military, and is a fellow in the Company of Military Historians.

Marion Morgensen Jacobsen was born in 1931, Brooklyn NY. She worked as a nurse at Methodist Hospital, NY for the Visiting Nurse Association of Brooklyn and Staten Island, was a flight nurse at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage AK, was in charge of acquisitions and new exhibits at the Museum of Archaeology, Staten Island NY, treasurer of the Archaeology Society of Staten Island, an organization founded by the Jacobsens, and is an artist working in gold, silver, enamels and oil.
