Connor married married Georgia Shuler in 1891. He farmed cotton in Parler and Elloree (Orangeburg County, S.C.), Like his father, L.B. Connor served in the General Assembly, representing Orangeburg County in the S.C. House of Representatives, 1921-1922, and also serving as commissioner of Elloree township.
