Creasey, John

John Creasey (1908-1973), an English playwright and author of crime novels from Salisbury, England, published over 500 books. He was the founder of the All Party Alliance in England, that advocated collaboration of the best of all political parties. He argued for industrial democracy in which workers, management, investors, and the state shared control and ownership.
James Sandoe, University of Colorado professor who worked for Norlin Library, as well as the departments of Theater, English, Film Studies and Humanities, donated this play. Sandoe directed performances of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival (1961-1973) as well as the Ashland (Oregon) Festival.
