Clyde Cleveland served as a Detroit City Councilman for twenty-seven years, from 1973-2001, before retiring near the time of his 66th birthday. A native Detroiter who graduated from Northwestern High School, Mr. Cleveland attended Wayne State University, majoring in economics. Prior to his election to the City Council, Mr. Cleveland worked for the City of Detroit for many years. This collection contains papers relating to all aspects of Detroit and Michigan, including reports and correspondence. The papers are arranged alphabetically by subject.
