Luigi Gorini (1903-1976) was the American Cancer Society Associate Professor in the Department of Bacteriology and Immunology and a professor in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Gorini's research focused on the regulation of the arginine biosynthetic genes, bacterial ribosomes, and the study of factors influencing the fidelity of the genetic code.
