Posey's correspondence and papers, including letters written during the American Revolution, from his military service in the 1790s, and as governor of the Indiana Territory. Also included is his Revolutionary War journal in the original and in typewritten transcript; a biography in the original and in photocopy; commissions and appointments; Posey's funeral oration; letters of Mary Alexander Thornton Posey to her children; and letters of Posey's sons regarding his Revolutionary War pension.
