Evangelistic and missionary organization working primarily among Slavic peoples; incorporated in 1936; developed branches in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Great Britain and New Zealand; among its activities were radio broadcasting, providing seminary education, translation and publication of Bibles and Christian literature, conducting evangelistic meetings, and refugee work; for many years the SGA also had a work among the Aleuts and Eskimos.
