Wiggins, Genevieve
Variant namesGene Wiggins was the author of several articles and books on country music, most notably Fiddlin' Georgia Crazy (Urbana and Chicago: University of Illinois Press, 1987), a study of the life and music of "Fiddlin'" John Carson. Himself an avid fiddler, Wiggins taught English at colleges in Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, and Georgia.
