Raymond, W. W. (William Wakeman), 1815-1894
Variant namesW .W. Raymond arrived at the Oregon Country on the sailing ship "Lausanne" on May 20, 1840 as a farmer for the Oregon Mission. As a member of the Mission, he served as a farmer, school teacher, and following its disbandment became Sub-Indian Agent at Grand Ronde and Clatsop Indian Reservations.
