Brittain, Vera, 1893-1970
Variant namesVera Brittain was a British author, journalist, and lecturer. Her memoir, Testament of youth, has been hailed as a touchstone of the WWI generation. Brittain was a dedicated feminist and pacifist, active in Britain and the United States before World War II.
