Harry Frank Guggenheim (b. August 23, 1890, West End, NJ–d. January 22, 1971, New York, NY) was the grandson of mining magnate Meyer Guggenheim and the son of Daniel Guggenheim, mining magnate and philanthropist. He recieved his BA and MA in 1913 from Pembroke College at Cambridge University. During World War I he was a member of US Navy Reservesand the First Yale Unit in WWI.

He became the director and president of the Daniel and Florence Guggenheim Foundation. In this role he provided funds for the establishment of Guggenheim School of Aeronautics at New York University, the Daniel and Florence Guggenheim Jet Propulsion Center at the California Institute of Technology, and the Guggenheim Laboratories for Aerospace Propulsion Sciences at Princeton University. He was also the president of the Daniel Guggenheim Fund for the Promotion of Aeronautics.

Guggenhein served as United States ambassador to Cuba from 1929 to 1933. President Hoover appointed Guggenheim to serve on the National Advisory Committee of Aeronautics (1929-1938). With his wife Alicia Patterson he founded the newspaper Newsday in 1940. In addition to his love of aeronotics, Guggenheim was a founding member of the New York Racing Association and a thoughbred racehorse owner and breeder.
