A.A. (Andrieus Aristieus) Jones was a prominent lawyer and politican from East Las Vegas, New Mexico. His political positions included Mayor of Las Vegas, New Mexico, 1893-1894; special U.S. District Attorney, 1894-1898; Democratic National Convention delegate, 1896; New Mexico Democratic Committee Chairman, 1906-1908, 1911; Democratic National Committee member, 1908-1922; and United States Senator, 1917-1927. Jones also collaborated with Albert T. Rogers Jr. representing clients in land grant litigation.
