The Penn State Office of Enrollment Management and Administration was created in 1993, headed by the Vice Provost and Dean for Enrollment Management and Administration John Romano. Romano was responsible for Undergraduate Admissions Office, Financial Aid, and the Office of the Registrar. In 2005, reorganization of the administration resulted in all these units as well as a newly formed Central Enrollment Management Group reporting to the Vice President for Undergraduate Education.
