Roumain, Jacques, 1907-1944
Jacques Roumain (b. June 4, 1907, Port-au-Prince, Haiti,–d. August 18, 1944) was a Haitian writer, politician, and Marxist. He is considered one of the most prominent figures in Haitian literature.
