Leland H. Jenks (1892-1976) was a professor of economics and sociology at Wellesley College, and also taught economic history at Columbia University.
While at Wellesley College, Jenks also served as chairman of the Department of Sociology. He was the author of The Migration of British Capital to 1875 (1927) and Our Cuban Colony: A Study in Sugar (1928). He retired from Wellesley College in 1957, after which time he taught at Columbia University for several years.
