  • 1777: Returned to New York
  • 1781: Renewed oath to the English Crown
  • 1785: Moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
  • 1796: Returned to Boston, Mass., and opened mercantile insurance office
  • 1806(?): Returned to London, England
  • 1816: Died, Boston, Mass.
