Ostroff, Anthony, 1923-
Variant namesAnthony Ostroff was an American scholar, educator, critic, and poet. He served in World War II, was educated at several premier universities, and taught poetry and rhetoric, notably at Berkeley. He published poems, fiction, and essays in a variety of journals, as well as several monographs. He was an active member of the ACLU, and worked with several anti-war organizations.
