Frank Scott was born in Fargo in 1921. After playing in an orchestra in Ohio he began a 12-year career as music director and pianist for WDAY Radio in Fargo. In 1956 the family relocated to California and he became an arranger and accompanist on the Lawrence Welk Show. His wife Jeanette died in 1979. He remained active in music and arranging and at the time of his death in 1995 he lived at Palm Desert, California and had his own band. In 1993 he married Audrey (Remme) Roseland, originally from Fargo.
