Parsons, Emma Follin, 1880-

Republican committeewoman and schoolteacher; Emma Follin was born in 1880 in Missouri. She married Clifford Parsons in 1912; and moved to Tucson in the 1920s. In 1928, she organized and served as the first President of the Pima County Women's Republican Club, then she was a Republican National Committeewoman from 1940 to 1948, and vice-chairman of the Republican State Committee from 1938 to 1940.
