I am just setting out for Washington, and as I take the road by Fredericksburg, I shall not be in Loudoun, till after I reach the city. I do not think that my family will come up this fall. On my arrival at Washington you shall hear from me, that in case, I cannot go up, you may come down.
I hope that you are sending, all your grain as fast as possible and in the best manner—
