Lantern slide and photograph of eggs in a Ruddy Duck nest
A Ruddy Duck nest containing fourteen eggs total, ten Ruddy Duck eggs and four Red Head Duck eggs, June 19, 1924. The nest was located in Johnson Slough near Stump Lake, North Dakota, and was floating 150 feet from shore. Slide originally titled "Ruddy Duck with 10 Eggs." The lantern slide is hand-colored.
