Lantern slide and photograph of eggs in a Blue-winged Teal nest
A Blue-winged Teal nest containing twelve eggs found on Pelican Island, Chase Lake, North Dakota, June 25, 1924. The nest was constructed with fine weed stems and very dark down. Slide originally titled "Blue Winged Teal Nest 12 Eggs." The lantern slide is hand-colored. Rosene provides details on photograph.
